چکیده
VIPR (vapor in-cloud profiling radar) is a tunable G-band radar designed for humidity and cloud remote sensing. uses all-solid-state components operates in frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) mode, offering transmit power of 200-300 mW. Its typical chirp bandwidth 10 MHz over center-frequency tuning span 167-174.8 GHz results nominal range resolution 15 m. The radar's measured noise figure the band between 7.4 10.4 dB, depending on its frequency hardware configuration, calculated antenna gain 58 dB. These parameters mean that with 1 ms times, single-pulse reflectivities as low -26 dBZ are detectable unity signal-to-noise at 5 km. Experimentally, returns from ice clouds above km height have been observed ground. VIPR's absolute sensitivity was validated using spherical metal target antenna's far-field, switch has implemented an RF calibration loop periodic recalibration. achieves high thermal limited detection both by virtue low-noise architecture quasioptical duplexing method preserves ultrahigh transmit/receive isolation despite operation FMCW mode single primary shared transmitter receiver.

متن کاملEstimation of soil moisture using optical, thermal and radar Remote Sensing )Case Study: South of Tehran(
Traditional methods of field measurement of soil moisture in addition to the difficulty, the need for manpower and money and fail to take place on a large scale to be able to show moisture. Therefore, remote sensing has become a widespread use .Landsat 8 satellite data and Sentinel-1 radar satellite from Tehran were provided. 72 soil samples were taken at the same time by satellite passing from...
